Looking to go during the Winter of next year. Any tips for that? What is the best time?

The best months to visit the area are October thru May. The summer months are a great time if you like the less people and enjoy the heart.

If you want to avoid large crowds in the the area do not come during February, or Chirstmas or New Years week. That is when it gets busy busy.

Should I bring Pesos?

For the beach in Tulum and other places that do not have access to as much internet I would definately bring pesos. Other than that most places can charge your credit card. Make sure to bring cash for tips, other than that you should be fine with either us dollars or mexican pesos.

We suggest only taking out pesos from ATM's that are located inside a place where they are monitored, either inside a bank, grocery store or other to avoid cloning your card.
